dang i really like this guitar and i never even knew they existed. it's a silvertone and i think he called it a countertop or tabletop but i be daggum if i can find another one in the intense five minute search i just made on google images. lemme know if you know what it is.

i think it's a Sears Silvertone made by Kay.. those look like Kay Pickups.. Aluminum "binding" yes?
